I've been busy planning for next year. Too busy to spend much time here. I have been taking some photos though.. Hopefully, I can upload a few soon.

I did get to go trail riding this weekend and it was a blast. The good company, wonderful weather and challenging trails allowed me to clear my mind of the everyday clutter. I definitely needed this break. It felt fantastic to be back in the saddle again. Now I can’t wait for the end of deer season so we can get back out there.

The chance of rain never materialized and the temperature stayed warm, maybe a little too warm at times. But that just helped the beer go down easier. This was an exploration ride to chart new trails on our leased property, so it was tough going in a few spots. But overcoming these challenges made the ride even more fun, at least for those that didn’t fall. If I had only had my video camera, I might be in the running for a $10,000 prize.

I did have my digital camera with me. Below are a few images of the landscape we were riding. The country is rugged, but very picturesque. I did capture some wildlife shots that I'll post later. Happy Trails.

One note for those interested in star gazing. The Moon will be quite close to Mars tonight. For most, the Moon should be three degrees above and three degrees to the east (or left) of Mars. I hope I get a chance to capture a few photos tonight.
